Party with the Stars…
We all love a good throw-down right? A booze addled, lamp shade on yer’ head kinda mess that constitutes the great aussie get together. So with summer here again we thought we’d better have a look into the upcoming party season and do a little work to assure your success in any social hosting situation…
Who do you invite, who’ll be trouble and who can help pull this thing off? Well we all have our strengths and weaknesses but here’s a little guide based soley on the star dust that constitues our beings and more importantly our doings, to help with your next guest list. Here’s a RedHotPie guide to party personalities by the stars!
Now there are three main groups that the star signs can be herded into in regards to the party situation, those being party officicals, party animals and party poopers. Each group must be recognised and engaged accordingly to maximise their potential for festive goodness while minimising the potential chaos that can ensue when these personalities are not treated accordingly.
Party Officials
Taurus (April 20 to May 20),
Cancer (June 21 to July 22),
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19),
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)
Get these guys involved early because right here we have the brawn trust, the doers of the star sign world… These are the people who can book that hall, bring that amazing crab bisque or make sure the guests party according to your rules, they are the order behind the chaos.
While Taurus’s aren’t the most exciting personalities once the music is blaring, their willingness to get stuck in work wise makes them indespensible for set-up, while Cancer’s hosting flair means sausage rolls, cocktails and and a generally positive vibe to have helping with the show. Capricorn’s relaxed command of logitics ensures every planning box will be ticked while Virgo’s upkeep skills means they will be invaluable once the battle has commenced.
Ofcourse while the practical worth of these signs is invaluable, their actual partying ability leaves a little to be desired. However no effort should go unrewarded so get them on the invite list, introduce them early then show them to a nice quiet corner where the awkwardness will be less infectious… brutal but hey… the success of your event depends on it.
Party Animals
Gemini (May 21 to June 20),
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22),
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)
So here they are, the jewels in your partying crown, these signs constitute the life of every party, they will be the first to strip off and dive into the pool, they’ll have the greatest anecdotes and their surprisingly competent singing voice is never more than two drinks away. Without them you’re hosting a tupperware party, with them you’re soiree can be legendary.
Gemini’s usually bring their ‘up’ side to a pary and instill an electricity into proceedings with their seemingly endless energy, while Pisces’ will impress with their confident sophistication and charm. Scorpio’s will arrive dressed to the nines bestowing the aesthetic class that every top-line function requires and Leo’s natural magnetism oozes rat-pack cool… yeah baby!
So, utilized correctly these personalities will ensure your event’s success, however, every party animal can be prone to excess, so watch that your lively little assets don’t over do it ending up on your roof, requiring a call to the local fire department to assist in their retrieval!
Party Poopers
Aries (March 21 to April 19)
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)
So these guys are the amber alert crowd, to be considered carefully when building the all important invite list. These signs do have their positive qualities but in this instance their negative traits can be detrimental to a good-time vibe and that equals disaster for you and your bash. Here’s some things to ponder…
Aries’s and their short fuse may be the catalyst for those embarrassing party-punchups, always the spark in the fireworks factory, a risky element at any gathering. Libra has the tendency to try really hard, in most areas of life that will be an assett but at a party, a try-hard is the enemy of fun. Sagittarius loves to party but they no doubt think they do it better than anyone, their big head may get a little out of control. Aquarius will be most likely to be gate crashers or to bring them, either way, it’s trouble you don’t need.
Let’s not forget these signs have their good qualities too, it’s just that these failings can be explosie in a party situation, consider each guest on this star-sign list on their own merits, but avoid stacking these personality types, minimising risk is always the right move.
