why do so many really short women want really tall guys?

Whats up with so many women who are 5' or 5'1 wanting guys 5'10 or taller? I dont get it. Do taller guys offer anything a guy closer to your own height can? When are us shorter guys ever gonna catch a break lol? So come on ladies, some one explain it to me. This is in no way a put down, but when I see a really short woman with a guy 6'or more, to me it looks really outta whack. I know, its your preference and theres nothing wrong with it. But try finding a short guy with a really tall woman then you will see what I mean. Just one of those things Im curious about.

i think its a cave man thing... i like to feel womanly and feminine and if i can pick the guy up and cradle him in my arms then i guess he just isnt going to do it for me. i want to be picked up and swept off my feet. short guys cant do that for me...PLUS i'm like 5'2 so if you're short compared to me then u must be a midget. :P not that i dont love a midget. :S

Just cos a girl is short doesn't mean that she doesn't want the ideal tall guy just like any other chick... But those who are not willing to broaden their horizons are probably hard work anyway.
Keep in mind that a 5'1 chick may be short but whack 4-5 inch heels on her and she would def want a guy to be 5'9+

Agreeing that this is annoying to see. If you're 5 foot nothing -any- man should be tall to you pretty much, if you want to keep the feminity and "caveman" thing going. As a girl who is over average height, and is "stuck" with 5'4" guys hitting on me while I see 6'3" men being clung to for dear life by 5 foot tall women, I don't get it, and feel horribly jealous. I love wearing high heels but for years I haven't met a man tall enough for me to wear them and still feel feminine. As far as I've been told by women dating tall guys, it's horribly uncomfortable for the physical relationship too, so I really do not get it.

I am tall & prefer a very tall guy, over 6 foot. Some chicks just prefer tall men. Hell, even the midget on big brother has a 6'2 husband! What makes me laugh is the really short chicks that trot around in super high stilettos... they are still SHORT, but they just look like idiots cos they can't walk properly!

I'm average height but some chick I dated wanted taller... What the f&*k for unless she's into abseiling... I don't think you can win with some women. Move on I say.
