Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. About me: I'm all about making the most of every opportunity...a woman who is ready and willing to love the heck outta the right man...should he happen to come along! Life is too short to be spent alone. My parents have been married nearly 50 years and their best friends thru good and rough times, and I was hoping to find the same relationship for myself.
I am an intelligent, successful self-employed professional, caring and loving person who loves to laugh. I am not judgemental and can relate and converse with people of all levels. I have seen and done a lot in my life and must admit that I find joy from the simple things in life. Pretentiousness and dishonesty is not my thing. I have learned to become strong and independent over the course of my life. Lifelong belief in treating people with respect, compassion and an open mind. I am quite happy in my own skin and enjoy a variety of things from reading, gardening, painting, catching up with friends and cuddling or talking at the moment with my 2 siamese cats, whom I adore so much. I also like to go out for dinner, watch dvd movies and visiting new places.I enjoy weekends away. Someone to share the important things in life.....
I am a generous and fun-loving person - you just have to scratch the surface, I'm also a bit shy, but start to warm after I get to know the person. I am also affectionate when given the chance. Friendships I make tend to last for a long time, as I am a very thoughtful and considerate person, and look for these qualities in the friends I have.
I like being "me". What I'm looking for is friendship first. If it develops into something more then that's great as it would be nice to share my life with someone special. Some might say I'm a bit conservative, but I'd like to think I'm simply practical and logical and appreciate the goodness in every person. I am very positive, genuine, creative, joyful, happy, healthy, independent and capable woman-some may find that off putting that I’m not a princess needing to be rescued...with no baggage, unless you count children as such. I have two children that I treasure and are a very important part of my life and they still demand some...just a little bit...of my time. Both are independent...sort of :).
I am a true optimist, even a naive one, a naturally good listener, and still believe in mad, passionate, all-consuming love. Family and friends are important to me. I am protective and loyal and appreciate those who feel deeply and passionately about what is important to them. Honesty is my best policy.I can get along with just about anyone. The only thing that I can not tolerate is dishonesty and restrictions.I also live by the motto 'what you see is truly what you get'.No games.
