Hi there :) I'm a firm believer that if you fall off a horse, you need to get up, shake yourself off and get back on it - so, when life doesn't go according to plan I refuse to stay home and mope - that's why I'm here, talking to you :)
Hmm, about me....well, I love life and love to learn from whatever it brings my way - I'll try anything at least once! I like my job, love my family and friends, and can be found doing anything from cooking up a storm in the kitchen (I expect you to be my culinary guinea pig, and you better like breakfast in bed!), running around with my 3 dogs, jumping in the car for a random road trip, challenging my mind with a great book, or curling up on the couch in front of a movie. I can talk the leg off a chair about anything and everything, but am also happy to listen - I'm looking for great conversations, as well as comfortable silences....
I'm a big fan of travel, and recently returned from a trip to Thailand, Egypt and South Africa - had an amazing time and learned so much about the wonder of nature (watching elephants roaming free under an African sunset took my breath away) and the beauty of the human spirit (being welcomed into the homes of people who have lived through such cruelty, yet still have so much hope) - this world of ours is a truly amazing place, and I'm looking forward to finding somebody to share it with :)
Love to cook (if my wok could just learn to mow the lawn and change a light-bulb, I'd marry it!) - feeding people makes me happy. Love to meet new people, travel, and once in a while be crazy and do silly things - I love being 30, as I'm old enough to know better but young enough to do it anyway :)
